PS - it is anticipated that you will have done a yoga teacher training prior to this course - practitioners or teacher of other disciplines like Pilates are welcome to join, but please note this course does not give you the qualifications to formally teach as an accredited yoga teacher.  

Justine and Rebecca

We have spent collectively over 35 years dedicated to understanding the foundational and more subtle realms of teaching yoga. We understand the ‘not so linear’ path of growth, and how further education, and alignment within yourself, adds to your evolution as a facilitator, teacher, and guide for others in their practice. 

Justine Janssen
Justine is a highly regarded Australian senior yoga teacher, mentor, and coach. Her approach is masterful, she teaches from an embodied wisdom, weaving integrated philosophy into her teaching to create a transformational experience for students.
 
In 2009, Justine co-founded Canberra’s largest yoga studio Power Yoga Canberra (PYC). At one time PYC had three thriving studios around Canberra.

She brings a wealth of experience including training with Sarah Powers (Insight Yoga), Jo Phee, Power Living Australia Yoga and Baptiste Yoga and has facilitated Power Yoga. Justine has completed level 1 of iRest training. She has led 200hr and 85hr yoga teacher training through Power Yoga Canberra and Embody Wellbeing.
In 2020, she launched The Remedy - a revolutionary experience combining a range of techniques. After completing Pause Breathwork training in 2020, Breathwork has become a main focus and passion.   
 
Justine is the co-founder of Embody Wellbeing and a Lead Facilitator in all Embody Wellbeing yoga teacher training. She now resides in the lovely town of Berry, NSW Australia and has open a boutique yoga studio in the centre of town. She also facilitates online including for a range of government and corporate clients.  
Rebecca Passey
Rebecca is a yoga and meditation teacher, breathworker, group facilitator and intuitive healer. She has a broad professional background.

As the Director of Embody and Lead Facilitator, Rebecca develops and facilitates programs workshops, training and retreats working with sound, breathwork and movement.

She completed her first 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2006 with Radiant Light Yoga and has undertaken additional training through Power Yoga Canberra and Power Living Australia Yoga. She is a level 1 iRest teacher. Over the past few years she has designed and facilitated accredited 200hr yoga teacher training and other professional development courses for teachers.  She is passionate about  the power of breath and has done a number of breathwork trainings including mostly recently - BreathingCold. 

Rebecca has a strong interest in trauma focused practices and areas. She is curious about the embodied experience of awakening in this extraordinary time we find our self in and how we can utilise ancient and contemporary practices to support our journeys. 

Rebecca teaches online and in the New England area in NSW, Australia.
